San Francisco winters are very unique in many aspects. It’s normally clear, brisk and very fresh and the temperatures rarely drop below 55 degres (bonus).
For those few days when the Dew drops, a warm sweater, a good pair of boots and a hat will cure all chills.

A week in sunny Florida means whipping out some of my favorite staples that are difficult to wear during the winter months in the city by the Bay!

Now that Mr. Obama has been sworn in for another four years in the Oval Office, it’s time to examine the pieces Mrs. O chose to watch her hubby begin his new term. Of course, she didn’t disappoint the thousands (if not millions) of devout fashion fanatics that will record this sartorial moment into their national archives!
A glimpse of the First Lady and rest of the clan (except First Dog Bo):
Michelle (with her new bangs) wore a custom dress and coat by Thom Browne.
Michelle Obama wore her Thom Browne dress with a Reed Krakoff cardigan.
Michelle and her girls, Sasha and Malia, who wore Kate Spade NY and J.Crew coats. The bedazzled belt is from J.Crew and also love the pop of color from the colorful leather gloves.

When it comes to style, we sure knows who wears the right pants in the Obama household (in fact, all of them)

This J.Crew wonder is officially my winter staple piece! I was lucky to snag it during their wonderful sale and it was too perfect to pass.
So far, I have worn it almost every day in 2013, and each time it becomes quite the show stopper. I recently sporte it at The Lab Event in Sonoma and had to share the pictures with y’alls.
