With summer certainly comes bright colors, bold prints and memorable ensembles. It’s fun to express yourself in an array of patterns but always remember…moderation is the key!
Florals are fantastic, just pair them with classic trousers to evoke a nice contrast. Not ready to brave the bulbs completely? Just add a bag or a scarf to your look to add some pizazz.
Some of the most talked about prints of the season must be Altuzarra’s S/S 2012 collection, which got accolades when it graced the runway in September. These are timeless pieces that spice up any summer.
Here are other fantastic ways to go wild in prints:
Altuzarra Tropical Print Blazer — www.net-a-porter.com
Proenza Schouler Medium Tropical Canvas PS1 — www.brownsfashion.com

Ryzenberg On: Splash your Closet
I am ready for a wardrobe pick me up! Yes, I wear colors year-round, but since this San Francisco winter has been mild, the bright hues are coming out!
One color that will dominate my wardrobe during the warm months is any shade of Orange. Anything from Pantone’s super popular ‘Tangerine Tango,’ to even pastels in melon and coral — I can’t seem to get enough of it and it’s perfect for when I go to my beloved 305 (of course, I am referring to Miami) to visit family and friends.
And now that we are on the topic of tropical cities, what makes this color so vibrant is its versatility. You take the plunge and wear a bright bathing suit, or a white ensemble with a bright scarf and sandals.
If you want to make more of a subtle approach, then simply wear a pair of earrings that will simply make you sparkle from head-to-toe.
This color will absolutely have you making a statement, whether you are going on a spring getaway or just want to spice up your closet.

This Jimmy Choo bootie is divine! I know it’s a lot like the Louboutin from last winter, but this shoe could certainly get me into some trouble!
